Hi, Shane!

I LOVE the pictures!!! We just got them today. Rob and I looked through them and we couldn't be happier. It's amazing how you seemed to know who the more important people in my life are (there were some amazing ones of my grandparents and other people who mean a lot to me), and how you caught the true expressions on people's faces. In one of the pictures, Rob has an expression that only I ever get to see, (one of those "really in love" looks) and I was so happy that you caught it!

I also loved how you noticed the ring on my right hand. I didn't tell you about it, but you could tell that it was a really special ring (my mom's ring) and you got the most gorgeous picture of it.

Also, I was afraid that I wouldn't look my best in the pictures because of the heat, but you managed to make me very happy with how I looked! I'm normally picky about my photographs, but these are so amazing.

I could go on and on :o), but I just wanted you to know how absolutely thrilled I am with your work. I am so glad that I decided to put my photographs on the top of my list of priorities, especially now that I've seen several of my friends' wedding pictures from this summer....I feel VERY fortunate that I didn't settle for a mediocre photographer like most of them did.

Thank you so much for getting the proofs out to us...the photos are beautiful. We took the proof book everywhere with us, especially since it arrived right before the holidays...it practically shows like a wedding album itself! We actually took out some of the candid shots of our friends and relatives and mailed them along in our thank you cards to them, because they were so well done. What I think is most amazing about them is that when I look at the pictures, especially the "getting ready" shots, the emotion and memories of that day are brought right back to me, like it just happened yesterday. It's as though something more than just an image is preserved in each photo.

Thank you again for being there to capture our special day...I knew I made the right decision when I chose you as our photographer!

Dear Shane,

They are so beautiful...they are what we had hoped and wished for and more....you have every moment...every glowing smile on PJ's face...every grin on mine....as well as priceless photos of our parents and grandparents! We looked at them for 2 hours when we got home...sprawled out on the kitchen table...then we started over and looked again! It was like reliving all of the happiness of that day again and again!

It was so important for us to hire an artist...there are lots of "wedding photographers"....but your photographs are so much more. Your attention to detail carries through every aspect of your craft. From the first time we met with you, we knew it was impossible to hire anyone else!

The funniest thing is...after the initial getting there, and taking a few photos on the steps inside the place, neither one of us remembers really seeing you all that much...you really did blend in and were part of the crowd...

We are so happy...but then, we knew they would be beautiful. On the car ride home from the hotel where we met you, we were both so excited. We kept saying...wow...I can't wait to see OUR photos! 8)

So we want to thank you - for your talent and your obvious mastery of your craft! When people have the chance to do what they were meant to do, what they LOVE to do in life...as their "job" and they are happy doing it...you can see it! It is obvious that you love what you do! So thank you so much, we are so happy.....8)

Now...we have to PICK!!! LOL....

P.S. - We'll definitely be in touch about the album process...I've been looking on your website...but somehow I think it may take a little while to pick from this massive collection!

And just as a side note...I have always been unhappy with photographs of myself...it's a personal issue for me, but...I wanted you to know...I was SOO happy looking at all of the photographs, they made me feel so good! So thank you also...for that! -Kris 8)

"I got the pictures this weekend and they look wonderful! You did such a wonderful job hiding the "river" in the pictures it's going to be hard remembering the circumstances. But looking through the pictures brings the whole day back! I also can't believe all the different angles you managed to get, and that zoom lens is amazing because no one knew you were taking pictures of them!

We found other photographers portfolios to be less artistic than yours and while I clearly don't understand the technical aspects of photography all that well, we could see the difference in your work in terms of composition, lighting, mood, etc. We like your attention to detail and that you clearly take great pride in what you do from the actual phototaking to the printing to the creation of the albums/boxes.
